The Mela, Shadhika's annual fund-raiser, held on April 27, 2008 was a fun, vibrant event full of delicious Indian food, a dynamic dance performance and an exciting auction. We raised an encouraging amount of money, proving that even in a slowing economy people still want to help the destitute in India.
