Shadhika depends on individual and corporate contributions to maintain and extend its services. Here are examples of how far your donated dollar will go:
- $60 will support one child in school for 3 months
- $120 will support 3 months of rehabilitation for one woman
- $600 will provide 2 meals a day for 25 children for 1 month
- $900 will make 2 orphan teenagers employable through vocational training
Most importantly, Shadhika is a "zero overhead" foundation, so you can be assured that 100% of your donations goes directly to the projects.

You can also help by contributing items to be auctioned at the mela. Examples are stays at vacation resorts, spa treatments, dinners at gourmet restaurants, etc. Any item you contribute to the auction is tax deductible to the extent of its fair market value.
